always a lot of great things happen. at the moment, hans unstern has his cd out (great music, greatestenste lyrics - unbelievable) ( ... and i dont say that often!). and a lot of people watch the paris video we did together. here is a link. there are also other videos, where you can see my life-drawing on stage.

and the exhibiton at west-berlin-gallery is still running for another two weeks and we get a lot of great mails. thank you everyone! here is an article i am really proud of: article-link.

issue eight of the schlossplatz (to the power of) 3 magazine is out now. basics09 (which i am part of) did the layout with severin wucher. this issue was all in bright neon-orange but old fashioned wood-carved-illustrations.

last nights exhibition-opening was great fun! thanks everyone. above, you can see five of the fifty (50) moleskines that i drew in. they were nicely hung and i sold well. thank you everyone for coming, drinking and just being the people you are! especially thanks to guillaume! have a look at the west-berlin-gallery here! see the moleskines here: click!

aaaand, finally, there is an exhibition with my ball-pen-drawings in the moleskines. approximatly 50 moleskine-sketch-books with drawings, pinned to walls. its at the west-berlin-gallery where all the drawing-batteling with paris took place. thank you, guillaume. i am really looking forward to it! there is also an fb event:

half an hour of graphic-battleing with paris and this is the result. i started with brain and guts, made the layer 30% and then skeletton and then skin and hair and in the end, a nice tattoo-finish. thank you, west berlin gallery! (there will be a solo exhibition in summer featuring me)

juhuu! i finally got the video to the hans unstern concert where i did live-visuals. non-digital-live-visuals!
here is how it worked: i had a table in the back of the concerthall and the band was playing on a stage with a huge cinema-like screen between band and audience. my drawing was liverecorded and beamed on the screen. so when the band had the stage-lights on, the audience could see them but if it was dark, my drawings would be on the screen and the band unseeable. here is a quick sketch for better understanding (i forgot to draw the audience... i was by far not the only person there :-) )

i had gigantic fun (although i was a little sick that night...) and i got my first real applause when hans said "...and on the drawing-pens: roland bruuuuuueckner!"

i hope to do live-visuals soon again.

when sometimes my fingers taste like metal it feels like the taste crawls over my face to touch the spot, where my hair beginns. i hate metaltaste on my hands and i wash them all the time. ALL the time.

because its chistmas and weekend and internet.

...when someone wakes up in the middle of a night and asks why his/her head is aching, you might consider not asking. the answer usually IS the answer!

for the issue on crisis of schlossplatz 3, basics09 made the whole magazine look like crisis happened during the prozess of layout. all the corrections were done with a red marker and left in for print. same with the illustrations. thank you monika and michael!

Since i didnt have a lot of "real work" the last weeks, i went and did some canvas and also some drawings on wood (dont have pics yet). theyre all about 80 x 80 cm (the green one is sold).

Der Kunstkontor tiefimBlut eröffnet am 5. Dezember 2009 um 11.00 die neue Ausstellung PERLON BALLROOM.
In einem Crossover unterschiedlichster Genres und neuen Werken der figurativen bis surrealen Kunst sind KünstlerInnen aus Berlin, der Schweiz und England und Australien im Sektor der Galerie vertreten.

for an exhibition together with my good old lichtgrau-friends, in the beautyful southern part of germany, i did those canvases (ca 100 x 80 cm).

yesterday, i battled paris!
in the west berlin gallery, each combatant was given 30 minutes to do a freestyle-sketch. that was streamed to paris, where someone else was doing the same thing, that was interneted here. live! great fun. read and see more here. thanks! (on the photo, thats me! hui huiii!)

ok. thats a little different now. a steuerberatungsbüro, is having illustrated portraits of the partners. above their exposee and illus for the x-mas-cards. really cool and very unboring! with loveto. for arps.
